The Kath Williams Choir and Music Workshop

The You Can Heal Yourself Expo is proud to announce that Kath Williams is coming to the Expo with two wonderful demonstrations the first will be the all girls choir who will entertain us with a short repertoire.

Secondly Kath will do a music workshop with the crowd and we will all be learning how to sing and use our voices.

Who is Kath?

Kath Williams
Musician, Vocalist, Teacher, Facilitator.
Kath Williams is passionate about playing and teaching music and has 25 years experience in the music industry . Her love for singing has led to her current post graduate study specialising in Contemporary Voice Pedagogy at QLD Conservatorium, and she has a long history of involvement in youth and community music projects including Bondi Youth Wave and Sunshine Coast Creative Careers in Music Mentoring Program 2005-2009, and Sunshine Coast TAFE in facilitation of music and drama programs for people with diverse abilities.
Kath is a highly recommended contemporary voice teacher, and works with a number of private vocal students of all ages, from beginners to professional performers, and directs both InsingC Choir and Museday Theatre on the Sunshine Coast.  She performs regularly around the coast fronting Blues Martini, plays guitar and sax, and has a background of 14 years in classical dance. She loves to work with singers to achieve their goals and progress as  performers…having lots of fun and building confidence and self esteem on the journey.
Kath is a member of ANATS (Aust National Assoc Teachers of Singing) and is the 2012 recipient of the Australian Voice Association Award for academic achievement in Voice.
