Dr Emerson – 12 Healthy Tips for 2012
Dr Greg Emerson is an
internationally recognised authority on health, vitality and longevity will be
our Keynote Speaker at the You Can Heal Yourself Expo, 2012.
For 18 years he practiced in several large public hospitals including a period of time as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Canada and as the Director of the Wesley Center for Hyperbaric Medicine in Brisbane.
A long personal battle with illness led him on a profound exploration of healing processes and the prevention of illness. He reappraised both his medical focus and the way he approached health care delivery.
He was the Founder and Medical Director of his own Health and Wellness Centre which opened in October 2005. From May 2008 to October 2011 he was co-director of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine Queensland. He then again decided to take the road less travelled and founded a Treat the Cause Clinic, based in Brisbane and soon opening on the Gold Coast.
He is a consultant in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, a senior specialist in Emergency Medicine and in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine, a Fellow of both the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine and is Australia’s leading and most experienced medical live blood microscopist. He is a senior lecturer, examiner and past board member for the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and a past-examiner for the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine
He believes in the intrinsic ability of the body to heal itself if the underlying cause of the illness is addressed. His practice revolves around identifying the sub-clinical defects common to all degenerative diseases and then using his unique 8 point INSIGHTS programme to return the body to health.

Here are his 12 tips for 2012:
1. Am I living my life with integrity? That means I’m doing the right thing as
well as being honest. There is no other way to spiritual enlightenment.
Have I got the fluoride, chlorine, copper and plastic out of the water I drink
and bathe in?
2. Am I eating organic, local, wild and minimally processed foods, spices and herbs that I grow myself or buy from local farmers markets?
3. Am I doing some sort of exercise every day- aerobic, anaerobic or flexibility?
4. In a world depleting my immune system and exposing me to ever increasing dangerous pathogens, am I taking my fermented cod liver oil, reishi mushroom and bovine colostrum every day to boost my immune system?
5. Am I taking at least one tonic adaptive Chinese herb to balance my endocrine system? The easiest way to do this is to have Spring Dragon longevity tea daily.
6. Am I treating myself to a vegetable juice every day to get the anti-fungal, anti-oxidant and anti-cancer minerals and phytonutrients I need?

10. Have I taken control of my finances? Am I getting good advice but ultimately taking responsibility for the decisions myself? There will be plenty of green and red financial doors in 2012.
11. Am I growing? Am I reading something, meditating or praying every day to learn more, be more and get closer to the universal energy we are all a part of?
12. When I feel unwell, am I treating the cause and not just the symptoms?
